Shop for a Cause

Did you know that you can make a free donation to the charity of your choice every time you shop at Amazon? Amazon has something called the Smile Program and if you sign up every time you shop Amazon makes a donation to the charity of your choice at Amazon’s expense. Their list of charities includes every charity registered with the IRS. The one issue you need to be aware of is the charity you pick has to have set themselves up with Amazon or the money goes into an account on hold until the charity signs up with them. I have already worked through this issue with the Georgetown Education Foundation (Georgetown Public Education Foundation Inc). You can read about the program here.
