Georgetown Days Stage
For Georgetown Days in 2008 a portable stage and canopy was designed and built. Georgetown Days committee member Scott Jones designed the stage and canopy. The stage was built by Scott Jones and parents and members of the band Cold Reality. The canopy was built by Scott Jones. The total cost of the stage and canopy was approximately $1,100, of which $500 was generously donated by the Georgetown Education Foundation and $300 was generously donated by Anna Jaques hospital. The balance of the funding was provided from the proceeds of the Georgetown Days events.
The stage is stored at the highway department and is broken down into 12 - 4’ x 4’ x 2’ sections with the canopy broken up into conduit sections less than 10’ long. The stage is available for use by civic organizations. Contact Scott Jones or Sandy Gerraughty to arrange for access to the stage.
