
Georgetown Days
Updated - Local historian Chris Comiskey will be conducting tours of Georgetown's Historic Union Cemetery, located on East Main Street, on Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th. Tours will be conducted twice daily, at 10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Learn about early ministers, slaves and abolitionists, revolutionary soldiers, young victims of a tragic epidemic, and the people involved in Georgetown's famous legends. Tours last about one hour.
Admission is $3.00. All proceeds go to the Georgetown Historical Society.
Booths in American Legion Park following the Horrible's parade will inlcude DJ Scott Jones, the PTA selling hot dogs and the Girl Scouts running a games table.
